We are seeking a Head of Presence Products (Websites/Video/Social Media) to work within the wider Digital Marketing Product team based in our Reading Head Office.

Job Purpose:

The role holder is responsible for the leadership of the Presence Products vertical (including websites, video and social media) to meet customer number, revenue and customer satisfaction (NPS) objectives. The role holder is responsible for day-to-day in-life performance of these products and will additionally set the strategic direction for the product lines, working closely with the Head of NPD and colleagues globally.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to / leading wider cross-product initiatives as required
  • Management and leadership of Presence Product team
  • Day to day senior management of Yell Presence Products – including management & liaison with internal and external contributing suppliers
  • Delivery of product revenue and contribution objectives
  • Defining product strategy and roadmap and initiating, leading and delivering product development initiatives
  • Ownership of product line epics, specifications and backlogs
  • Commercial product management including: developing business cases, building financial performance & forecasting models; reporting and monitoring KPI performance; optimising product volume / mix / pricing / ebitda
  • Internal & external supplier management to ensure excellent customer experience and optimum product cost base
  • Co-ordinate production & delivery of sales leadership & training related to products
  • Market and competitor monitoring and intelligence
  • Ensure compliance with all legal / regulatory / competition requirements
  • Ongoing review of existing products, ensuring they are in line with market and advertiser needs.
  • Manage relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Co-ordinate relevant market and customer research and incorporate into product plan
  • Contributing to/leading wider cross-product initiatives as required

Managerial responsibilities:

  • Hire, develop and retain quality team members.
  • Align team members with the organization’s mission and long-term success.
  • Work with team members to set their performance objectives which are in alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Create an environment within the team that inspires high performance and hold all team members accountable to performance objectives and behavior standards, to include documented periodic reviews of performance.
  • Conduct regular department meetings to communicate department objectives.
  • Prioritize workflow to meet department deadlines.


  • High quality BA degree (or equivalent), MBA an advantage
  • Solid senior level digital / technology product and service development experience
  • Deep understanding of digital products and markets
  • Proven ability to lead major online / technology product lines
  • Previous experience of working within a consultancy environment would be highly advantageous
  • Ability to liaise with and manage senior (CxO level) stakeholder relationships
  • Substantial experience of a wide range of digital technologies and business models
  • Excellent strategic / analytical / commercial / presentation / communication / relationship / management skills
  • Ability to lead/manage and inspire global teams
  • Great attention to detail

This position will have the flexibility to work from our London office 1 day per week if required.
