We are looking for a Head of Brand/Brand Lead to join the Brand Development global team based in our Reading Head office. Spanish language skills are required for this position as there will be involvement with our Spanish and Latam operations.

Job Summary:

Role purpose is to lead, plan and manage the transition to the new Group brand strategy, as defined by the current development work. Success will be measured by the extent to which the new brand is rolled out across all key media and touchpoints across the business globally. Common approaches and best practice are expected to be delivered across all market geos. The role is critical to the future success of Yell in particular, and as such has a number of interdependencies across the business; Product, Training & Culture, Customer Satisfaction etc.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with GPMO to ensure the full and proper roll out of the new brand across the Group in time for the brand re-launch
  • Develop a phased approach to ensure the “must have” items are in place for the critical launch date; subsequently ensure the plan is in place to transition other elements over at the appropriate time
  • Critical that this plan is synched with the key touchpoints where our customers and consumers (internal and external) will experience the new brand; ie. Emarketplace, Self serve, Sales model, Advertising and Promotion; Group website, Internal comms, etc etc.
  • Work with key stakeholders (Product, Sales, CS, Training) to ensure the promise of the new brand is delivered on in terms of the experience received by customers and consumers.
  • Maintain a clear and accurate view of the budget associated with the transition and ensure the budget is tightly managed as the transition rolls out
  • Ensure the approach to Merchant Services branding is delivered on internally
  • Work with design partners (internal and external) to ensure consistent, effective deployment of the new brand across all touchpoints
  • Support internal training and culture change programmes in the run up to the brand roll out
  • Maintain new brand guidelines and support the bedding in of these to the organisation
  • Brand guardian

Experience, Qualifications, Technical Requirements, Education:

  • Experience and understanding of brand and branding - essential
  • Experience of leading a re-brand initiative - essential
  • Excellent stakeholder management - essential
  • Understanding of production processes – desirable
  • Excellent budget control – essential
  • Spanish language skills - essential
  • Excellent administrative skills including management of complex delivery schedules – desirable
  • Marketing qualification desirable; degree level education essential
