Our mission is to enable great conversations between trusted businesses and consumers, through the power of cutting-edge technology, innovative solutions and best in class service.As Technical Product Manager you will be responsible for the successful design, delivery of the Conversational Commerce roadmap. Playing the role of a Product Owner in a scrum team, you’ll have full ownership of a backlog of deliverables backed by a strong strategy. You will ensure these deliverables are visible, transparent, and clear to all key stakeholders. You’ll be working with a team designing, building, and continuously improving our consumer and business’ experiences on Yell.com.
You will work closely with the Head of Consumer, the wider Product Team, and other Senior Leadership stakeholders to design, manage, evolve, and prioritise the ambitious futures of Yell products, driven by customer needs and solving real world problems.
You will ensure data and insight driven decisions are core to the Product Management team’s approach, taking a customer-focused view of all new features and enhancements, whilst considering the needs of Yell.
Responsibilities:
Devise and execute methods to track, report, analyse and improve Bot performance
Collaborate with stakeholders, Product managers and other in-house marketing teams
Collaborate with developers and product teams to implement necessary features and changes
Present and communicate Bot strategies and projects to internal stakeholders
Serve as an active Chatbots, Voicebots advocate
Keep up to date with latest Conversational Commerce trends, strategies, and algorithm changes
Managing all aspects of product backlog refinement and sprint planning with in-house Tech teams
Work with the Head of Consumer and rest of the Product team (including UX/UI) to incubate ideas and plan for the medium and long-term future of the products.
Alongside the Head of Consumer, you will implement best practices, processes, quality control and methodologies to increase the quality of work and velocity of the team.
Build collaborative relationships across the organisation with teams including Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Operations and Go to Market to ensure we continually delight our customers.
Work closely with the Product Design team on user research, insights, and our ability to validate our thinking and early concepts
Ensure the team have access to the right data, research and insights and use this insight to make and support decisions and provide business cases and rationales for changes and priorities.
Develop strategic product recommendations from a deep understanding of the customers’ needs and the products performance.Key Skills:

Deeply appreciative and passionate about all aspects of the user experience
Be the voice of the customer by leveraging user research and data insights to help create amazing customer experiences
Experienced leading and managing digital products that are in their growth phase
Experience of defining a product vision and OKRs for digital products
Makes data-led decisions to develop a prioritised roadmap
Able to manage multiple product lines / categories
Strong knowledge and appreciation for new product delivery and optimising multiple business models
Experience of taking a digital product through its lifecycle from discovery to live.
Able to work in a fast-paced, highly ambitious and multi-channel environment
Strong expertise in user experience and creating holistic customer experiences across multiple products and services
Delivery-orientated
Demonstrative of excellent commercial acumen
A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
Experienced in strengthening relationships and collaboration with engineering teams
Capable of building strong relationships with senior stakeholders to influence the development roadmap of products
Understanding how users interact with modern messaging systems
Excellent writing, presentation skillsRequirements
At least 5 years of prior experience working in technical Product Management Role
Good understanding of Conversational Commerce best practices
Ability to create, justify, communicate, and implement strategies across teams and external agencies
Data-driven and analytical mindset
Understanding of Agile principles and Scrum framework
Understanding working with Chatbots, Voicebots or Conversational AI
Experience with Machine learning / Bot training / Conversational Commerce
Experience in working with in-house and 3rd party software engineering teams and suppliersWhat can Yell offer you?
