A position has arisen within the UK Finance team for a Finance Analyst on an initial 6 month fixed term basis.

Finance Analyst

The role holder will be required to build and maintain relationships with a broad range of Business Partners. Delivering timely, relevant and robust financial information to ensure the business’ commercial and strategic objectives are met.

Role Responsibilities:

Management Accounting and Reporting

  • Production of both routine (month end) and ad hoc insightful, value adding analysis of operational performance to support management in maintaining efficient and effective operations, to tight deadlines. This will cover both financial and non financial metrics relevant to the business
  • Provide analytical input to ensure transparent and accurate forecasts and budgets are prepared.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of the drivers of revenue and direct product costs.
  • Deliver high quality value-added business support to business managers.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal customers
  • Provide analysis and information as necessary to support the ad-hoc project requirements of the business
  • Develop the management information reporting and financial processes to meet the changing requirements of the business

Role Requirements:

  • Good Academics
  • Newly qualified accountant
  • Strong technical/management accounting ability
  • Excellent Excel skills (strong data manipulation and analytic ability). SAP and TM1/Cognos experience would be a distinct advantage
  • Must demonstrate an ability to quickly form relationships, in particular with non-finance individuals, and work to a high standard of quality and accuracy
  • Well organised, dedicated and committed individual capable of working under pressure, delivering to deadlines and able to handle change
  • Preferably experience gained within a complex, challenging business environment
  • Solid background in financial analysis, business partnering or management accounting

In order to be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate proof of eligibility to work in the UK and hold a valid work visa if applicable.
