Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting Collections Advisors to join our Collections team at our central Birmingham offices. In this key role, the Collections Advisor will be responsible for the collection of outstanding debt, arranging payment plans and resolve customer queries.

You will be an experienced Collections Advisor with first class negotiation and communication skills. The successful applicant will receive relevant training as well as an excellent salary and benefits package, including an annual bonus.

The role

  • Build relationships quickly and effectively with our customers to ensure timely collection of payments from small and medium enterprises (SME)
  • Working in a fast paced outbound and inbound call centre
  • Negotiating with customers to reach mutually beneficial and agreeable solutions
  • Taking ownership of customer accounts, resolving complex issues and getting things right and resolved for customers, first time, every time
  • Meeting and exceeding personal and departmental targets

The person

  • Extensive collections experience within a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record in collections (ideally business to business (B2B).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong objection handling ability and negotiation skills.
  • A desire to learn and progress within a leading digital marketing company.
